Hiring Just Transition Lead

Transition is inevitable – justice is not. Nine months ago, we launched a new focus in our work to support communities to build a better, fairer, thriving future for everyone. Rona Hardie joined us as our first Just Transition Lead, and helped our team and the wider movement to explore more deeply what justice means for our work, and how we can be part of building a just transition at community level.

We’re excited for Rona (but sad for us), as she plans to return to further study, and looking for someone to build on her fantastic work and continue to grow our understanding, capacity and skills in this vital work.

In such a short time, Rona has reflected on why we need to put justice at the heart of Transition, hosted a brilliant Transition Alive session, which shared stories from groups doing this in practice, helped us explore anti-oppression approaches and supported 30 seed funded groups to look at practical ways to embed justice in their grant-funded projects.

Could you be our next Just Transition lead, and build on this work?
